Visit more than 40 which focus on additional applications, characterization and functionalization of cellulose and other renewable nanomaterials. The poster session and student poster competition is held every year at the TAPPI Nano International Conference to showcase undergraduate and graduate research. Prizes are awarded to the top posters, entered into the competition, based on audience voting and the open format is perfect for interacting with industry representatives and other students!

Kick off your 2017 TAPPI international Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials experience with a tour of FPInnovations. FPInnovations specializes in the creation of scientific solutions in support of the Canadian forest sector’s global competitiveness and responds to the priority needs of its industry members and government partner.

This event, hosted by TAPPI’s Young Professionals Committee, is a great opportunity to network with a diverse group of young professionals in a relaxed environment while attending the 2017 TAPPI Nano Conference. This event offers a great way to combine both business and social networking. Enjoy drinks and appetizers with conference other YP’s as well as division representatives. This event geared toward those who are 30 and under but is open to all conference attendees.

Join us on board Cavalier Maxim as we view the lights of Montreal while cruising the Saint Lawrence River. Guests will be impressed by the beauty of the city and its surroundings as well as an exceptional dinner. The nights concludes with a colorful fireworks display.
